PERESEPOLIS made by order of DARIUS the great and there was spring capital of persia, after several years there burned with a wildly invosion of alexander. let's give you a short introduction about persepolis.
darius commissioned architects, stonecutters, and ahost of other artists for his building project ot susa. There,on the slopes of mount rahmat, overlooking avast, fertile plain and panoramic view, persepolis waserected though twenty-five hundred years have come and gone, it impressive architecture still holds the viewer spellbund. Even the ruins of this magnificent city sing of it ancinet splendor and remain a source of inspiration for architects and stone cutters. visitors come from farand wide to cateh a glimpse of these wondrous ruins. All leave overwhelmed by the grandeur of Ancient persia. As has been attested by thirty thousand clay inscriptions," for the first time in history, abundant talcent, wealth and a will of iran joined hands unden an efficient administration, to create in persepolis an art, which would come to be known as" Achaemenid ". Darius ordered a rectangular platfrom, some 300 meters wide and 455 meterslong to be laid at a height of approximately 15 meters, on an area of 125/000 square meters. one of the stunning aspects of persepolis is the use of 873 stone columns. some of these pillars, in Apadana, measure 20 meters in height. This is truly amazing given the limilation of ancient technology. some weigh as much as fifteen thousand kilograms.
unfortuntly, because of political matters, authorities do not care to these struetures and it seems that they forget once persia was the greatest owner of civilisation in the region and the whole world. anyway, here I'm not under pressure of work and our project will be over in the next few days and I will give it to our chief manager.
